About Chef
Growing up in a vibrant joint Gujarati family in India, food was always at the heart of our home. We cherished a variety of dishes, but nothing beat the comfort of homemade meals. As a child, with my parents busy at work and my curiosity for new flavors growing, I began experimenting in the kitchen at just 14. Over the years, my passion for cooking only deepened. I loved exploring recipes, creating fusion dishes, and crafting meals that not only tasted delicious but were also nutritious. My two sons, both food lovers themselves, have inspired me to make healthy, tasty lunches they and their friends rave about.
After moving to Austin, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing my culinary creations with friends, earning compliments at every gathering. It’s this love for food, and the joy it brings to others, that has inspired me to turn my passion into a career. Now, I’m on a mission to bring flavorful, healthy, homemade meals to the Austin community through the "PlatesFull" platform. Ultimately, the journey of a home chef is about creativity, resilience, and the joy of bringing people together through food. Each dish tells a story, making the culinary journey as much about personal growth as it is about cooking.
